A Tenant's right to have a properly maintained property is covered in the Residential Tenancies Act (2004). A Tenant who is not satisfied with the standard of maintenance or condition of their property can have his/her case heard by PRTB who can order the Landlord to carry out repairs. However, before going to the Tribunal, the Tenant should first try to resolve the issue with us.
